Men's Soccer Hosts Cornell on Halloween Night

PRINCETON, N.J. (10/29/09) - The Princeton men's soccer team returns home on Saturday, Oct. 31 to host Cornell at 7 p.m.
The game will be webstreamed on GoPrincetonTigers.tv and live stats will also be available.
Princeton holds a 48-35-11 record in the all-time series with Cornell that began in 1908. The Tigers have won the last two games, including a 3-0 decision last year.
The Tigers are tied for fourth in the Ivy League standings along with Columbia with matching 2-2 records. Cornell is eighth with an 0-2-2 record.
Princeton is 7-5-2 and undefeated in the last four games, including a 2-1 overtime win over Harvard in the last contest. Junior Josh Walburn leads the team with 14 points off of six goals and two helpers. The Ivy League Player of the Week, sophomore Antoine Hoppenot, who was also named to two national teams of the week, has five goals and one assist for 11 points. Freshman Matt Sanner has nine points and junior Brandon Busch has seven. Junior goalkeeper Sean Lynch has started all 14 games and has three shutouts, a 1.22 goals against average and a .695 save percentage.
Cornell is 5-5-4 overall and is coming off of a 1-0 loss to Brown from last Saturday. The Big Red tied both Penn and Harvard and lost a 4-3 game at Yale. Matt Bouraee is the team's leading scorer with 12 points off of three goals and six assists. Scott Caldwell also has six assists and eight points total. Chase Aaronson has scored a team-best four goals and has added one assist for nine points. Scott Brody has started in net for 12 games and has a 5-2-3 record with two shutouts, 1.40 goals against average and a .770 save percentage. Rick Pflasterer has played in four games and earned two starts as the back up keeper.
