Women's Tennis Has Busy First Day in North Carolina

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. -- On the first day at the Kitty Harrison Invitational, the Princeton women's tennis team kept busy Friday, playing 15 singles matches and four doubles contests against players from a foursome of ACC schools, including Virginia, Virginia Tech, Maryland and North Carolina.
The Tigers went 8 for 15 in singles and 4 for 4 in doubles, sweeping Maryland in pairs play. Against Virginia, Rachel Saiontz picked up a win over Emily Fraser, ranked No. 54 in the ITA's preseason rankings. Among the two-time singles winners for Princeton were Hilary Bartlett, Sarah Hoffman and Rebecca Parks.
