Boston College Tops Men's Tennis 5-2 in ECAC First Round

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- Alex Vuckovic and Alex Faust picked up wins for the Princeton men's tennis team Friday morning in the first round of the ECAC Championships hosted by Harvard, but Boston College won the match 5-2 to advance.
Vuckovic's and Faust's wins came at third and fifth singles, respectively, but Boston College took the doubles point and the four other singles positions to claim the overall victory. Boston College will advance to face Columbia Saturday in the quarterfinals while Princeton will meet Dartmouth for a consolation bout Saturday at 4 p.m. The match will not count toward the Ivy League standings.
