LEXINGTON, Ky. -- One round into the Bettie Lou Evans Invitational hosted by the University of Kentucky, the Princeton women's golf team is tied for 13th place.
Florida State, alma mater of Princeton head coach Amy Bond, leads at +10, three shots in front of Central Florida and Coastal Carolina. Princeton is tied with Mississippi State at +26 in the 15-team field.
Kate Scarpetta leads Princeton's contingent at +3 in a big group tied for 13th, while Wonji Choi and Olivia Garard are a shot back at +4, tied for 20th. Michelle Grilli rounds out the scoring four at +15, tied for 75th, and Maggie Boberg is the fifth Tiger at +17, tied for 80th.
The individual leader is Macarena Silva of Florida State at -2, two shots ahead of three players at even par.
