Tigers on TV: Princeton's game against Hofstra was taped to air by Verizon FiOS 1, which will show the game on that channel beginning at 7:30 ET Wednesday in the Long Island and New Jersey markets, with re-airings at later times. The Sept. 20 game against Rutgers will also be taped to air later.
Big win: Princeton bounced back from a 2-1 loss to Hofstra in the season-opener Friday night at Roberts Stadium to defeat St. John's by the same score Sunday. The Red Storm were ranked No. 18 in the nation by Soccer America and No. 25 by the NSCAA and were undefeated.
More ranked: Utah is also a ranked team, like St. John's. The Utes are ranked No. 21 by the NSCAA.
Never a dull moment: Princeton's last four matches, dating back to last season, have been 2-1 finals. Counting last season, 15 of Princeton's last 19 games have been one-goal margins or ties.
Contributing early: Freshman Jen Hoy has assisted on two of Princeton's three goals this season. Of the 10 points scored so far this season, four belong to freshmen with Caitlin Blosser and Stephanie Iantorno also contributing assists.
It could be anyone: Princeton's three goals this season have come from three players: Vicki Anagnostopoulos, Alissa Boddie and Barb Previ.
New foes: Princeton has never faced Utah or Wyoming, nor have the Tigers faced a Mountain West team since the conference began play in 1999.
Milestone ahead: Sunday's win was the 196th for Julie Shackford in her 18-plus seasons as an NCAA head coach, with four at Carnegie Mellon and 14 in the books at Princeton.
Common foes: Other than each other, Utah and Wyoming count just one common opponent between them with Princeton this season. Wyoming defeated Hartford 2-0 on Aug. 28, and the Tigers will host the Hawks on Sept. 23.
