Oct. 21 TigerCast: Jim Barlow, Kayleigh Iatarola and Jared Backus

Jim Barlow (men's soccer), Kayleigh Iatarola (women's soccer) and Jared Backus (football) join the latest edition of TigerCast, presented by PNC Bank.
Barlow is the head coach of the Princeton men's soccer team, which has won seven straight games and has moved to No. 23 in the national rankings. The Tigers have overcome a slow start to their season with terrific play, especially on the offensive side; Princeton has 26 goals on the season and has scored three goals apiece in each of the last three games. Barlow talks about the recent run and the upcoming showdown with Harvard, a nationally televised game on Oct. 25.
Iatarola has started more than 40 straight games and is the two-time captain of the women's soccer team, which enters the weekend one point behind Columbia for first place in the Ivy League. The women's soccer team takes on Harvard Saturday at 5; the last two meetings between these two teams have resulted in exciting one-goal contests. Iatarola talks about her journey to Princeton and her expectations for another exciting matchup with Harvard.
Backus is in his first year as the defensive coordinator at Princeton, and his side of the ball is coming off its best effort of the season. Princeton held Brown to 17 points and kept the first-place Bears off the scoreboard for the first half. Backus works closely with the linebackers and discusses the impressive seasons from sophomores Andrew Starks and Tim Kingsbury, and he also looks at a Harvard offense that is very proficient, especially in the run game.
