Bartlett, Marable Advance to Quarters in ITA Regional

HANOVER, N.H. -- Hilary Bartlett advanced through to Monday in both singles and doubles with three total wins on the third day of the ITA Northeast Regional at Dartmouth.
In doubles, Bartlett and Taylor Marable defeated Jessica Harrow and Misia Krasowski of Brown 8-4 to advance to face twin sisters Shannon Comolli and Kelly Comolli of Cornell at a time to be determined. Monica Chow and Rachel Saiontz, who won two doubles matches Saturday, fell to Vicky Brook and Lindsay Clark of Yale in the Round of 16 by an 8-1 final.
Princeton won four of seven singles matches on the day. Bartlett won twice to advance to the Round of 16, defeating Alexa Ely of Penn 6-3, 6-2 and Elena Ivanova of Hofstra 6-0, 6-2, while Marable and Chow each won in the Round of 64 to set up Round of 32 matches Sunday night. Marable defeated Monica Yajima of Fairfield 6-4, 6-2, before falling to Stefanie Nunic of Boston University 6-3, 6-2, and Chow knocked off Ryan Young of Cornell 6-0, 6-2 before losing to Blair Seideman of Yale 7-5, 6-1. Saiontz fell in her Round of 64 match 6-1, 7-5 to Vivin Laszloffy of Boston University.
