Men's Soccer Ranked No. 16 in Latest National Poll

PRINCETON, N.J. (11/2/10) - The Princeton men's soccer team is ranked No. 16 in this week's National Soccer Coaches Association (NSCAA) National Poll. The Tigers moved up from No. 20 last week after a 1-0 win over Cornell on Satuday, Oct. 30.
The Tigers are ranked No. 17 in the Top Drawer Soccer poll, No. 26 in the College Soccer News poll and for the first time this season is ranked by Soccer America, at No. 25.
Princeton dipped to 27th in the NCAA RPI ratings for the week. The Tigers were 21st one week ago. The RPI is the most important of the criteria the NCAA uses to determine the 48-team field for the NCAA Tournament. The RPI is a mathematical formula designed to objectively compare results and strength of schedule.
