Shon, Women's Golf Lead Turtle Bay Invite in Hawaii

KAHUKU, Hawaii -- Kelly Shon and the Princeton women's golf team lead the Turtle Bay Invitational in Hawaii after Tuesday's first round with two rounds to play before the tournament wraps Thursday.
Princeton finished 2-over for the day, four shots in front of BYU in a seven-team field that is rounded out by UC Irvine, Portland State, Southern Illinois, Hawaii and the University of British Columbia.
Shon, at -3, was one of four players to turn in red-numbered cards on the Arnold Palmer Course, which hosts the first two rounds. Michelle Park of UC Irvine is one shot back at 2-under.
Anna Jang is tied for fifth after a par round at 72, while Maggie Boberg is tied for ninth at 2-over, Wonji Choi is tied for 13th at 3-over, and Kate Scarpetta is tied for 30th at 8-over. Complete results are available at the PDF link.
