First Day at Kitty Harrison Invite is Complete for Women's Tennis

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. -- The Princeton women's tennis team began its three-day participation Friday in the Kitty Harrison Invitational with doubles matches against players from Texas A&M and singles matches against competition from Virginia and UNC Greensboro.
Tiger players picked up one doubles win against Texas A&M and five singles victories, all against players from UNC Greensboro.
Blakely Ashley and Katherine Flanigan teamed up for the doubles win, blanking Aggies Christi Liles and Lauren Santacroce 8-0, while each Tiger went on to defeat her UNC Greensboro singles opponent.
Princeton will play its Saturday matches at Duke before returning to UNC Sunday. The Tiger players will face competition from Duke and Maryland in doubles and William & Mary in singles. Princeton's complete results from Friday are below.
