PRINCETON (12/10/10) - The Princeton men's hockey team scored four goals in the final eight minutes to defeat UMass Lowell 5-2 in non-league action at Hobey Baker Rink. Andrew Ammon scored the final three goals for the Tigers to record the hat trick.

Princeton trailed 2-1 in the third period and got a break when Matt Arhontas' centering pass at 11:58 bounced off a UML defenseman and into the back of the goal. The score was his seventh of the year and came with assists from Matt Godlewski and Mike Kramer and drew Princeton even.
The Tigers then went ahead a minute later when Ammon scored his first goal of the year on a breakaway after a lead pass from Taylor Fedun. Ammon took the pass on the blueline and scored through the five hole of UML goaltender Doug Carr. Ammon made it 4-2 at 15:43 when he scored on the power play. Michael Sdao hit Ammon with a pass and he skated along the wall before scoring.
Ammon completed the natural hat trick in the final minute with a shorthanded empty-net goal. Kevin Lohry made the play when he blocked a shot and then won a battle to the puck before handing it to Ammon for the hat trick.
Jack Berger opened the scoring for the Tigers with a rebound goal in the first period.
