Wheeler Places 15th in Saber at NAC Atlanta

Freshman Diamond Wheeler placed 15th of 55 in the saber competition at the North American Cup event in Atlanta Sunday on the second day of the three-day competition.
Wheeler was one of two Tigers competing Sunday, as sophomore Robert Malcolm placed 95th in a field of 148 in men's foil. The competition, which earns high finishers points toward representing Team USA in international events, will wrap Monday with freshman Philip Dershwitz in the men's saber competition and sophomore Hannah Safford and junior Susannah Scanlan are signed up for the women's epee event.
Saturday, six Princeton fencers competed, with freshman Ambika Singh placing seventh in the women's foil event as the high finish by a Tiger.
