February 22, 2010 | Men's Tennis
PRINCETON -- Princeton's men's tennis team won the doubles point and three singles matches to get past St. John's 4-3 in its home opener Sunday afternoon in Jadwin Gym.
Yohei Shoji, Matt Siow, Coleman Crutchfield and Alex Faust were part of the two Tiger wins that claimed the doubles point, while Charlie Brosens and Matt Siow won at first and second singles, respectively, and Crutchfield won at sixth to get Princeton to four points.
The win allowed Princeton to bounce back from two defeats to end the ECAC championships last weekend. The Tigers began a five-match homestand against the Red Storm, continuing Saturday against Northwestern.
