Singles Wins Give Northwestern 5-2 Victory over Men's Tennis

PRINCETON -- No. 75 Princeton picked up the doubles point against No. 44 Northwestern, but the Wildcats took five of six singles matches to win 5-2 Saturday in Jadwin Gym.
Yohei Shoji and Matt Siow teamed for a win at first doubles, while Michael Lin and Matt Spindler put together a third-doubles victory to give the Tigers the first point.
The Wildcats responded by taking all singles matches except at second, where Siow was a three-set winner over Sidarth Balaji.
Princeton will host its third of a five-match homestand Wednesday at 7 p.m. in Jadwin Gym against Stony Brook.
