Kalemba Signs With Norfolk of the AHL

NORFOLK, Va. (3/12/10) - Zane Kalemba, who finished his Princeton career last weekend as the Tigers all-time leader in goalie appearances, wins, shutouts and save percentage has signed with the Norfolk Admirals of the American Hockey League
Kalemba recently completed a four-year collegiate hockey career at Princeton. This season with the Tigers, he posted an 8-12-3 record with a 3.19 goals-against average and .898 save percentage. Over the course of his collegiate career, Kalemba posted a 57-44-5 record in 108 games with a 2.46 goals-against average and .912 save percentage.
Last season was a banner year for Kalemba as he went 22-10-1 with a 1.82 goals-against average and .932 save percentage, setting Princeton single-season records for wins, goals-against average and save percentage. He was named ECAC and Ivy League Player of the Year, earned first team All-ECAC and All-Ivy Honors, was a second-team All-American and became the second Hobey Baker Award nominee in Princeton's school history.
