Men's Tennis Defeats Penn in Ivy Opener, 5-2
March 27, 2010 | Men's Tennis
PHILADELPHIA -- Princeton's men's tennis team opened the Ivy League season with a 5-2 victory Saturday at Penn.
Princeton won the doubles point with victories helped by Michael Lin, Matt Spindler, Alex Faust and Matija Pecotic before Spindler and Faust were also winners on the singles courts. Charlie Brosens and Coleman Crutchfield each added a point with a singles win.
The victory gives the Tigers back-to-back wins for the first time this season a week before Princeton hosts its only full home Ivy weekend when Yale and Brown come to the Lenz Tennis Center (or Jadwin Gym if inclement weather) next Friday and Saturday, respectively.
