Men's Tennis Tops Yale 4-3 for Second Ivy Win

PRINCETON -- For the first time since 2004, the Princeton men's tennis team has won its first two Ivy League matches, earning the distinction with a 4-3 victory over Yale Friday at the Lenz Tennis Center.
The win is Princeton's first league-play victory over Yale since 2007 after two years on the other side of 4-3 losses.
Five Tigers contributed points in the victory, with Michael Lin, Matt Spindler, Alex Faust and Matija Pecotic getting doubles wins. Spindler and Faust were also singles victors, with Coleman Crutchfield getting a victory at sixth.
All six singles matches were decided in straight sets. The Tigers will host Brown (11-10), which opened its Ivy season at Penn Friday.
