Tennis Teams to Host Four Matches This Weekend

PRINCETON -- William & Mary, Marshall, Binghamton and Radford will all come to Jadwin Gym this weekend as the Princeton men's and women's tennis teams host two matches apiece.
The men's team (2-5) will close out a five-match homestand with the two contests. Binghamton (6-1) will face Princeton at 2 p.m. Saturday with its top singles player, Sven Vloedgraven, ranked 117th in the ITA's top-125 list. Radford (1-4), which will meet the Tiger men at 11 a.m. Sunday, also has its top singles player ranked, with Ivan Salec checking in at 79th. Radford will also be playing its second match of the weekend after playing at George Washington Saturday.
The women's team (7-4) is ranked No. 45 in this week's ITA poll and has sophomore Hilary Bartlett up to No. 70 in the singles ranking. Bartlett, who entered the season at 121st before dropping out of the top 125, has won three out of her last four matches at No. 1 singles including two victories over ranked players. In the doubles rankings, Bartlett and Taylor Marable are ranked No. 28 on the doubles list.
No. 59 William & Mary (5-6) will take on the Tigers at 11 a.m. Friday and has faced eight ranked teams in its 11 matches with wins over Florida International and Georgia State. The Tigers have taken on five ranked teams and picked up three wins, defeating Denver, Vanderbilt and Minnesota. Princeton's 10 a.m. Saturday opponent, Marshall (11-0), is ranked No. 28 and has its top singles player, Michaela Kissel at No. 33. Kissel is also part of both of Marshall's ranked doubles pairs at No. 30 with Dominica Zaprazna and No. 45 with Deanna Bailey.
