Chris Ayres Assists U.S. Wrestling Squad In 2010 Junior Pan-Am Games

Coming off leading Princeton to its most impressive wrestling season in decades, head coach Chris Ayres is making his debut with the USA Wrestling program this week in Managua, Nicaragua. He is a volunteer assistant for the U.S. men's Greco and Freestyle team at the 2010 Junior Pan American Championships.
The Greco-Roman competition will be held on Friday, while the men's freestyle competition will be held on Sunday. The U.S. has one men's squad that will compete in both divisions. On Friday, the elimination rounds will be held between 3-6 p.m., with finals beginning at 7:30 p.m. The freestyle competition will begin at 1 p.m. on Sunday, with finals scheduled for 4:30 p.m.
This is the first assignment for Ayres, one of two coaches on the U.S. staff, from USA Wrestling, the governing body of international wrestling for the United States. The U.S. team consists of:
