Eight Soccer Games To Be Televised On ESPNU, Verizon Fios
August 13, 2010 | Men's Soccer
The Princeton men's and women's soccer teams will have eight regular-season games televised as part of the University's ESPN and Verizon Fios 1 packages. Both the men and women will have four games each.
The women's game at Rutgers Sept. 3 will be the first of the eight televised games, and it will come on the first day of athletic competition for Princeton teams in the 2010-11 academic year.
In addition to the Rutgers game, Verizon Fios 1 will also televise the women's game on Oct. 2 against Dartmouth, Oct. 9 against Brown and Nov. 6 against Penn.
The men's game against Harvard has been moved to Sunday, Oct. 24, at 5:30 and will be televised on ESPNU.
Verizon Fios 1 will have the men's games against Georgetown on Sept. 17, Dartmouth on Oct. 2 and Brown on Oct. 9.
All Verizon Fios 1 games will be tape-delayed, but the feed will be shown live on goprincetontigers.tv, Princeton's video streaming home.
The Princeton men's team reached the NCAA tournament a year ago, while the women's team was in the 2008 NCAA tournament and returns eight starters from last year's team.
