Men's Soccer Ranked in Second National Preseason Poll

The Princeton men's soccer team is ranked No. 27 in the topdrawsoccer.com Preseason National Poll it was announced by the Web site this week. The announcement comes one week after the Tigers were ranked No. 27 in the College Soccer News Preseason Poll.
Following Princeton in the top-48 poll is Harvard at No. 29 and Brown at No. 39.
Predicted to win the 2010 College Cup is North Carolina, which finished fourth last year. The 2009 national runner-up Akron was selected second, followed by Maryland third, UC Santa Barbara fourth and Wake Forest fifth.
The Tigers open their season on Saturday, September 4 at Fairleigh Dickinson. The first home game at Myslik Field at Robert Stadium is Friday, Sept. 10 when Princeton and American kick off at 7 p.m.
