Spindler, Siow Named Athletes of the Week

Matt Spindler and Matt Siow have been named the Suburban Transit GoPrincetonTigers.com Athletes of the Week for their performance at the USTA/ITA Northeast Regional last week.
Spindler and Siow won their way through a 64-pair bracket, claiming one of 20 national berths into the USTA/ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate Championship at the Billie Jean King Tennis Center in Queens, N.Y. That tournament will run from Nov. 3-6.
The pair won six matches in five days to claim the berth and become the first Tigers since 2001 to appear in the USTA/ITA national event. Siow's and Spindler's achievement was also named as a "Hit" by the Trenton Times editorial board in its weekly list of news hits and misses, which can be found here.
