Women's Golf Heads to Texas for Fall Finale

For its final tournament of the fall season, the Princeton women's golf team will head to the University of Texas Golf Club in Austin, Texas, for the Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational.
The field will be a strong one for the event, which is scheduled to begin Monday and continue through Wednesday with one round each day on the par-72, 6,344-yard course. Eleven of the 15 teams in the field are in the top 50 of the latest Golfweek/Sagarin Performance Index. Arizona, Arkansas, Denver, Florida, Iowa, Kent State, Mississippi State, New Mexico, Oklahoma State, Pepperdine, Tulsa, UNLV and Wisconsin will join the Tigers and host Texas.
Joyce Kim, Tiffany Dong, Anna Jan, Wonji Choi and Kelly Shon will tee off between 9:45 and 10:21 a.m. Central Time Monday for the first round, while Mary Funk will compete as an individual and tee off at 8:24 a.m.
The event is the last of four fall tournaments for the Tigers, who finished fourth of seven Ivy League teams last time out at the Harvard Invitational.
