Shon Remains in Contention in Texas

Kelly Shon is tied for sixth overall at the Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational after Tuesday's second-round score of 74.
Shon is at +1 for the tournament, having started Monday with a first-round 71. Florida's Mia Piccio leads the 81-player field at -3, two shots in front of Madison Pressel of Texas. Three players are at even par, and Shon is one of five at one-over.
As a team, Princeton remained in 15th place in the 15-team field. Host Texas leads at 5-over as a team, eight shots in front of Florida. Ten of the 15 teams are ranked in Golfweek's top 50 teams nationally.
