Bartlett Receives Singles Honor in North Carolina

Princeton senior Hilary Bartlett was named the top singles player at the Kitty Harrison Invitational as the event, co-hosted by North Carolina and Duke, wrapped up Sunday.
Bartlett, playing at the No. 1 singles spot, won all four of her matches against opponents from Marshall, UNC Greensboro, North Carolina State and Minnesota, requiring second-set tiebreakers in two of the four matches but never a third set.
Sunday, Princeton was swept in three doubles matches against players from North Carolina while taking four of six singles matches from Minnesota players.
The event closed Princeton's fall season. The Tigers will begin the dual-meet schedule Feb. 1 in Jadwin Gymnasium against Temple.
