NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- No. 37 Princeton defeated Memphis 5-2 a day before facing No. 20 Vanderbilt on the Commodores' home courts in Nashville.
Taylor Marable and Katherine Flanigan were winners in both doubles and singles. Flanigan and Blakely Ashley helped Princeton (2-2) clinch the doubles point, though Memphis (3-3) pulled even with a win at first singles by Courtney Collins over Hilary Bartlett. Monica Chow, Marable and Flanigan followed with singles victories to clinch the win for Princeton.
Sunday's match with Vanderbilt (3-1) will begin at noon Central Time.
