NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- No. 20 Vanderbilt avenged last year's loss to the Princeton women's tennis team Sunday afternoon in Nashville with a 7-0 sweep.
No. 37 Princeton has faced opponents ranked in the ITA's top 20 in its last three of its last four matches and will have next weekend off to prepare for the ECAC Championship, which will take place in Jadwin Gym beginning Feb. 18.
The Commodores, using two ITA-ranked doubles pairs, swept the doubles point and then sent its five ITA-ranked singles players to complete the 7-0 win.
