Fencers Wrap Strong Performance at NCAA Regional

MADISON, N.J. -- Though not yet official, Saturday's results from the NCAA Mid-Atlantic/South fencing regional figure to give Princeton 10 automatic qualifier spots at the upcoming NCAA championships.
Edward Kelley and Hannah Safford, both in the epee, were regional champions, while saberists Philip Dershwitz, John Stogin, and Eve Levin had regional finishes that appear to qualify them for the NCAA finals, having finished in the top six or seven per weapon, as did foilists Alexander Mills, Eve Levin and Hyun-Kyung Yuh and epeeitsts Kelley, Safford, Mike Elfassy and Phoebe Caldwell.
Results, along with the two national wild card bids that will be handed out, will be decided Tuesday. The NCAA finals are March 24-27 at Ohio State. Complete results are below.
