Women's Golf Finishes 13th at Augusta State Event

AUGUSTA, Ga. -- Princeton's women's golf team placed 13th of 17 teams at Forest Hills Golf Club in Augusta, Ga. in their spring-opening tournament.
Purdue won the event at 5-under, 21 shots in front of host Augusta State. Princeton finished with a score of +57, led by freshman Kelly Shon at 9-over in a tie for 20th.
Augusta State's Casey Kennedy won medalist honors at 11-under, five shots in front of Purdue's Paula Reto as the only two players under par for the event. Each had a tournament-low round of 66 during the event.
Princeton's complete results are below. The Tigers will be back on the course for the Georgetown Hoya Invitational April 4-5.
