Men's Tennis to Open San Diego Invite Thursday

The Princeton men's tennis team is in San Diego, Calif., for the Hilton Mission Valley Spring Classic, an eight-team event co-hosted by San Diego State and the University of San Diego.
Princeton enters the match as the No. 53-ranked team on the ITA list and at 7-3 on the season with all three losses by 4-3 scores.
The Tigers are one of three ranked teams in the event, alongside No. 20 San Diego and No. 67 Purdue. In first-round matchups, Princeton will meet San Diego State at 2 p.m. Pacific Time Thursday, while Purdue will take on Denver, East Tennessee State will meet Harvard, and San Diego will face Alabama-Birmingham.
Each team will play three matches through the completion of the tournament Saturday. All matches will be at either 10 a.m. or 2 p.m. Pacific Time each day.
