Mar. 31 TigerCast: Megan Bradley and Marty Crotty
March 31, 2011 | General, Women's Tennis, Men's Rowing - Lightweight
Megan Bradley and Marty Crotty, a pair of second-year coaches looking to repeat championship seasons, join the latest edition of TigerCast.
Bradley is the head coach of the 56th-ranked Princeton women's tennis team, which is looking to repeat as Ivy League champion in 2011. This could be the most challenging weekend for the Tigers, as they face No. 43 Brown and No. 29 Yale during a pair of home matches. Bradley talks about the challenging schedule she hopes has prepared Princeton for the Ivy grind and the beautiful facility being developed at the Lenz Tennis Center.
Crotty leads the men's lightweight crew into Saturday's Fosburgh Cup regatta against both Georgetown and Columbia. Winners of 22 of its last 23 regular season races, Princeton is the two-time reigning EARC, Ivy League and IRA national champion. Princeton is the top-ranked team in the nation, although Crotty points out, among other aspects of the team, that the depth of talent in the league can't ever be overlooked.
