Women's Tennis Tops Harvard, 4-3

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- Katherine Flanigan's win at fifth singles provided the clincher as the Princeton women's tennis team defeated Harvard 4-3 Sunday afternoon in Cambridge, Mass., dealing the Crimson their first loss in Ivy League play.
Princeton is now 10-9 on the season and 3-2 in the Ivy with one weekend to play. Brown and Dartmouth also entered Sunday undefeated in Ivy matches, while Harvard joins Yale with one loss ahead of Princeton with two.
The Tigers won the doubles point with victories by Monica Chow and Rachel Saiontz on court two and Flanigan and Alexa Krakaris on court three, while Saiontz, Chow and Flanigan contributed the singles wins that collectively put Princeton over the top.
Princeton will head to Columbia for its final road match of the season Friday at 2 p.m. before hosting Cornell next Sunday at 11 a.m. in the season finale.
