Women's Tennis Defeats Columbia, 4-3

NEW YORK -- Princeton's women's tennis team won the doubles point at Columbia and took three of the first four singles matches to be decided to claim a 4-3 win over the Lions Friday afternoon.
The victory clinches the eighth straight Ivy League winning season and seventh straight overall winning regular season for Princeton, as the Tigers stand at 11-9 overall and 4-2 in the Ivy with only the Cornell match Sunday remaining on the regular schedule. Sunday's match will begin at 11 a.m. and is scheduled for the outdoor Lenz Tennis Center.
After Princeton swept the doubles point to go ahead 1-0, Katherine Flanigan, Hilary Bartlett and Taylor Marable won their singles matches to put the Tigers in front 4-1 before Columbia won the last two matches to be decided.
