WALNUT, Calif. (4/15/11) - Princeton women's track & field distance runners senior Sarah Cummings and junior Alex Banfich attended the Mt. Sac Relays in Walnut, Calif.
Cummings recorded a new personal best in the Women's 5k Open A. She ran 16:14.84 for a fifth-place finish, nearly 11 seconds fasters than her previous best time of 16:25.72.
Banfich ran in the Women's 5k Olympic Development Elite and finished in 16:14.75, as the ninth collegian across in the line.
The pair will join the rest of its team when it hosts the Larry Ellis Invitational next weekend, April 21-22 at Weaver Stadium.
