Ivy League Championship Live Stats
Friday's first round will begin the Ivy League women's golf championship at Atlantic City Country Club, the first Ivy meet for head coach Nicki Cutler as the Tigers look to add to their four league titles.
The Ivy League Championship has been held annually since 1997, and Princeton has won the second-most titles with four, in 1999, 2001, 2004 and 2005. Yale leads with six, last in 2006, while Columbia, Harvard twice, and Penn have taken the crown since Yale's last title. The Tigers have finished no lower than fourth since their last title in 2005, finishing runner-up in 2007, third in 2006, 2008 and 2009 and fourth a year ago.
During the regular season, Princeton regularly shared tournament fields with other Ivies and often came out in front, finishing ahead of Ivies on 12 of 18 occasions. The Tigers have finished ahead of all six other Ivy women's golf programs at least once this season, including Harvard, Yale, Brown and Dartmouth less than two weeks ago at the Brown Invitational.
The seven Ivy programs will play one round each day Friday, Saturday and Sunday in Atlantic City, with the Ivy League listing start times as 8 a.m. Friday, 12:30 p.m. Saturday and 7:30 a.m. Sunday.
The scoring five for Princeton has remained the same in all three spring tournaments so far, including seniors Kate Scarpetta, Rachel Blum and Maggie Boberg, as well as junior Wonji Choi and freshman Kelly Shon. In all seven tournaments between the spring and fall, Shon has finished as Princeton's top player.
