Apr. 21 TigerCast: Kate Scarpetta and Eric Salazar
April 21, 2011 | General, Men's Golf, Women's Golf
On the eve of the Ivy League Golf Championships, Princeton seniors Kate Scarpetta and Eric Salazar join the latest edition of TigerCast.
Scarpetta has been a consistent scorer for Princeton over the last three Ivy League Championship weekends, and she comes into her final conference weekend on the momentum of a fifth-place finish at the Brown Invitational. Scarpetta and a pair of her senior teammates will head to Atlantic City Country Club to compete in an open field for the 2011 title.
Salazar is also looking for his first Ivy League title, and he will do so this season as the lone Tiger senior in the 2011 championship competition. The men's field also looks wide open, although Princeton can build on the fact that it has defeated every other Ivy team at least once this season. Galloway National Golf Club will be the site of the men's championships, which begins Friday morning.
TigerCast can be accessed now through the "Podcasts" tab on the side of the main page, or by going to the main TigerCast page here.
