Day 1 of IC4A/ECAC Championships Finishes at Weaver Stadium

PRINCETON, N.J. (5/13/11) - Day one of the IC4A/ECAC Track & Field Championships at Princeton's Weaver Stadium has come to a conclusion. Seven events were held, six distance events and one field event.
On the women's side, freshman Clare Gallagher was seventh in the steeplechase, at 10:44.47. Freshman Theresa Devine ran a PR of 16:49.50 in the 5,000-meter run.
For the men's team, sophomore Michael Franklin ran his second best time of the season in the 5k at 14:20.38 to finished 12th, while classmate Peter Maag ran 14:32.22.
Day 2 begins at 9:30 a.m., with the continuation of the ECAC Heptathlon.
