Kelly Shon's play at the NCAA East Regional in Daytona Beach, Fla., will begin Thursday at 8:55 a.m. on the 10th hole at the LPGA International course.

The Princeton freshman will be the fifth Tiger, over eight appearances, to compete individually in the NCAA East Regional and second in three years after Susannah Aboff '09 in 2009. Shon is the third Princeton freshman to qualify individually, following Laura Gilmore '98 and Avery Kiser '05.

Shon is one of 126 players in the field, with six, including Shon, competing as individuals and the other 120 as part of 24 teams. The top eight teams and top two finishers not on those eight teams will earn advancement to the NCAA Championship, with Shon competing for one of those two spots.
