Inverso, Barlow and Donigan form local soccer triumvirate

When Rider University hired Charlie Inverso as its soccer coach last winter, it completed a remarkable triumvirate in terms of Mercer County soccer.

Suddenly, all three NCAA Division I men's programs in The Trentonian's coverage area had county products as their head coaches.

With Hightstown High grad Jim Barlow at Princeton and Steinert alum Dan Donigan running Rutgers, it marks the first time all three universities along the Route 1/Route 206 corridors are being coached simultaneously by county offspring (Inverso is from Hamilton and went to Notre Dame).
