Mansfield Defeats Sprint Football

Mansfield defeated the Princeton sprint football team 40-2 Saturday afternoon in Mansfield, Pa., in the Tigers' second game of the season.
The Mounties scored twice in the first quarter to take a 13-0 lead and added another touchdown late in the second half to make it 19-0, but the point-after attempt lead to Princeton's only points when John Moffat ran back the blocked kick for two points.
Mansfield added three second-half touchdowns to make the 40-2 final. The mounties outgained Princeton 322-57 on the ground to make up the bulk of the 390-109 edge in total offense.
Individually for Princeton, Jaison Zacharaiah passed for 52 yards on 6 of 21 attempts but was picked off four times, and Kevin Infante picked up 64 yards on the ground.
Princeton will continue its road schedule Friday at 7 p.m. at Cornell.
