The event, at which competitors can win points toward representing the U.S. in international competitions, will run from Friday through Monday.
Five current Tiger fencers are scheduled to compete. Foilists freshman Sharon Gao and sophomore Eve Levin will compete Friday and Sunday between the Division I and junior competitions. Freshman epeeist Katharine Holmes will go Saturday and Monday in the Division I and junior events, while fellow epeeists juniors Hannah Safford and Jonathan Yergler will compete in Division I events Saturday and Sunday, respectively.
Up to five Princetonians not among the current fencers are also on the entrant list. Ambika Singh and Susannah Scanlan, who are taking time off from Princeton to prepare for a run at the 2012 Olympic Games, will compete in the Division I foil Friday and Division I epee Saturday, respectively. A pair of 2002 alumnae, Maya Lawrence and Lindsay Campbell, are scheduled to compete in Saturday's Division I epee event, while Soren Thompson '05 is signed up for Sunday's Division I epee competition.
The current Princetonians will be back competing under the Princeton banner following the finals break when the Tigers head to Northwestern for dual meets over the first weekend in February.
