Kesselman Scores Two in Men's Hockey Exhibition

PRINCETON (10/19/12) - The Princeton men's hockey team fell in overtime to Guelph 3-2 in the Tigers' first exhibition in the 2012-13 season.
Sophomore Aaron Kesselman comes back strong this season with scoring the game's first two goals. Guelph came back in the third period scoring two goals causing the game to go into overtime.
With 1:13 left in overtime, Justin Gvora scored the winning goal, assisted by Matthew Lyall.
Freshman Kyle Rankin assisted on both of Kesselman's goals in the first period, which gave the Tigers a 2-0 lead over Guelph. Kesselman spent the last half of the season with an ACL injury. His hard work over the off season seemed to pay off as he scored both of the Tigers' goals.
Senior Mike Condon started in goal and made 22 saves. Sophomore Ryan Benitez started the third period and finished out the game in goal. Benitez made seven saves.
Shots were in Princeton's favor, 57-32.
The Tigers host Guelph again tomorrow afternoon at 4PM at Baker Rink.
