WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- Princeton's men's tennis team picked up its second win of the season Sunday against Elon, defeating the Phoenix 5-1.
Only singles play was contested as the teams skipped doubles play since the match was decided. Wake Forest played host to the match in its indoor facility.
Wins by Matt Siow, Matt Spindler, Matija Pecotic and Zack McCourt provided the singles wins necessary to clinch the team victory, and Dan Richardson's victory at sixth singles made it 5-0 before Stefan Fortmann won on court two to give Elon a point.
Princeton will head to Dartmouth next weekend for the ECAC Championship.
