This Week for the Tigers: The Princeton women's basketball team is one win away from completing its second perfect Ivy League season in three years. The Tigers (23-4 overall, 13-0 Ivy League) have won 16 consecutive games entering their Tuesday, Mar. 6 home finale versus Penn (13-14 overall, 6-7 Ivy League). Tipoff is slated for 5 p.m.
Last Time Out: The 2012 Ivy Champs wrapped up the conference road slate with wins over Yale, 71-53, and Brown, 77-60.
Princeton remains perfect in Ivy League play at 13-0.
On Deck: Princeton will return to the NCAA Tournament for the third consecutive season, with the first round on Saturday, Mar. 17. Seeding will be announced Monday, Mar. 12.

Scouting Penn: Penn enters the regular season finale riding a two-game winning streak. The Quakers (13-14 overall, 6-7 Ivy League) defeated Brown, 72-55, before upsetting Yale, 61-58, and ending any postseason play for the Bulldogs.
Penn is led by Alyssa Baron, who's averaging 16.8 ppg in 27 starts. Jess Knapp, the team's second leading scorer with 6.1 ppg, is the Quakers' top rebounder with 6.3 rpg.
All-Time Series History vs. Penn: Princeton owns the all-time series versus Penn 48-23. The Tigers dropped the Quakers 83-48 in their conference opener on Jan. 7. Penn has not defeated Princeton since 2008.
Goin' Dancing!: The Princeton women's basketball team will returns to the NCAA Tournament for the third consecutive season. The first round begins on Saturday, Mar. 17. Seeding, location and game time will be announced on Monday, Mar. 12.
No. 4 in Mid-Major Poll: Princeton holds onto the No. 4 ranking this week in the Collegeinsider.com Top-25 Mid-Major Poll, as of Feb. 28. The No. 1 team in the poll is Delaware, who is also ranked in the national top-25 polls.
One Win Away: If the Tigers beat Penn they will have gone undefeated in Ivy League play for the second time in three years. Since 2009, Princeton is 45-1 versus conference opponents.
RPI: The Tigers remain in the top-50 in the DI RPI poll, as Princeton currently is ranked No. 26 in the nation. The squad was as high as No. 11 this season.
Allgood Named Ivy Player of the Week: Senior Devona Allgood was named Ivy League Co-Player of the Week, following a standout off the bench effort at Yale and Brown. She combined for 34 points, scoring a season-high 21 in 25 minutes of work against the Bears on Mar. 3.
She is the third Tiger to earn the honor this year.
The National Picture: Princeton currently is the No. 27 team in the nation according to the Mar. 5 AP Top 25 Poll. The Tigers dropped a place in the received votes category this week.
This week's ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll comes out tomorrow, Tuesday, Mar. 6.
16 and Counting: The Tigers enter Tuesday's game riding a 16-game winning streak. Princeton has not lost since Dec. 17 at then-No. 4 Stanford. Since then they have dominated conference play.
Rasheed Up for Player of the Year Honors: Junior forward Niveen Rasheed was named to the U.S. Basketball Writers Association Player of the Year Midseason Watch List. She is one of 20 players nationally to be up for the USBWA's top honor.
Banghart Named to Coach of the Year Watch List: Fifth season head coach Courtney Banghart was named to the 10-person USWBA Coach of the Year Watch List. She is in the company of the likes of Stanford's Tara VanDerveer, Baylor's Kim Mulkey and Muffet McGraw of Notre Dame.
Edwards Named Lowe's Senior CLASS Award Finalist: Senior Lauren Edwards has been named a finalist for the Lowe's Senior CLASS Award. Out of 30 candidates from NCAA Division I institutions from across the nation, Edwards is one of 10 student-athletes selected as a finalist for the prestigious award.

1,000-Point Club: Three Tigers have reached the 1,000-point scoring feat this year. Seniors Devona Allgood and Lauren Edwards both scored their milestone baskets in the fall, while junior Niveen Rasheed joined the club at Harvard on Feb. 11.
Ivy POW Honors: Junior forward Niveen Rasheed has been named Ivy League Player of the Week four times this season (Nov. 21, Dec. 19, Jan. 2 and Jan. 16). Joining her are seniors Lauren Edwards (Feb. 27) and this week's honoree Devona Allgood.
