Oliver Hits Princeton Record in Triple Jump at Penn Relays

PHILADELPHIA (4/27/12) - Sophomore Imani Oliver posted a Princeton record with a new personal best in the triple jump at the Penn Relays on Friday, April 27.
Oliver jumped to 12.50 (41-0.25) to finish second int he Eastern triple jump. She already held the Princeton record after a jump of 12.49 (40-11.75) last year as a freshman.
The school record holder in the discus, freshman Nonny Okwelogu competed in the Championship discus throw. She threw to 46.89 (153-10) to take seventh.
In the 4x100 ECAC final, the Tigers claimed fourth place with a time of 46.96. That relay was composed of junior Abidemi Adenikinju, freshman Emily Easton, junior Erin Guty and senior Eileen Moran
Princeton is scheduled for one more event at Penn Relays, the 4x800 Champions of America,which is scheduled for 4:10 p.m., tomorrow. The Tigers will also compete at the TCNJ Lions Invitational.
