IRA Champion Robin Prendes '11 Will Represent U.S. In Olympic Qualifier

Robin Prendes '11, who stroked the Princeton men's lightweights to the 2009 and 2010 EARC and IRA championships, was selected to the lightweight men's four that will represent the U.S. at the Final Qualification Regatta May 20-23 in Lucerne, Switzerland.
The crew, coached by three-time Olympian Bryan Volpenhein, will need to place in the top two at the Final Olympic Qualification Regatta to qualify for London.
Prendes helped Princeton to one of its greatest stretches in program history. Not only did the Tigers win back-to-back titles at both the EARC and IRA Championships, but he led them to a win in the 2009 Temple Cup competition at the Royal Henley Regatta.
