Princeton Soccer Set to Take On Top Foes in 2012

PRINCETON — By the time late September rolls around, the Princeton University men's soccer team will have a better idea of whether it can win the Big East rather than win the Ivy League.
The Tigers were not shy with scheduling this season, which begins Friday night at Seton Hall. Princeton opens with five straight Big East schools, including St. John's, Rutgers, Georgetown and Villanova.
"Our schedule is great this year with five Big East games to open and with (national runner-up and No. 2 ranked) Creighton coming to Princeton as well," said Jim Barlow, who begins his 17th year as coach. "We will learn a lot about our group early on in these games."
