Thomas Sanner Tabbed Ivy League Rookie of the Week

PRINCETON, N.J. (9/24/12) - Thomas Sanner of the Princeton men's soccer team has been named the Ivy League Rookie of the Week for the week ending Sept. 23. This is Sanner's third league honor this season, capturing the accolade three of the four weeks it's been presented.
This week, Sanner led Princeton in scoring and was named to the all-tournament team at the 2012 Princeton Soccer Invitational. Sanner finished the weekend with one goal and two assists for four points. On Friday, he assisted on both of the goals Princeton scored (the third was an own goal), including on the game winner, as the Tigers defeated Rider 3-1. On Sunday, Sanner scored the game-winning goal in a 2-0 win over FDU.
Princeton is now 4-3 on the season and begins Ivy League play hosting Dartmouth on Saturday, Sept. 29 at 5 p.m., in part two of a doubleheader with the women's team.
