Women's Golf Through Day One at Penn State

• The Princeton women's golf team is in 10th place in the 17-team Nittany Lion Invitational after the first round on Penn State's Blue Course.
• Six players per school are playing, though as in other tournaments, only the top four count toward the team's score.
• Penn State is in both the team and individual drivers' seats, holding a four-shot lead over Old Dominion with two rounds to play while the Nittany Lions' Ellen Ceresko turned in a 3-under 69 Friday.
• Columbia's Joanna Henry trails Ceresko by two shots after a 1-under opening round, while Princeton's Kelly Shon and Old Dominion's Gemma Fuster are next at even par.
• The tournament will continue with one round each Saturday and Sunday. Princeton will tee off Saturday at 8:30 a.m. from the 10th tee.
