Sanner Earns First Ivy League Rookie of the Week Honor

PRINCETON, N.J. (9/3/12) - Thomas Sanner was named the Ivy League Men's Soccer Rookie of the Week it was announced by the league office on Monday, Sept. 3, as the first weekly honors of the 2012 were bestowed.
Sanner assisted on both Princeton goals in a 2-1 win over Seton Hall in the season opener on Friday, Aug. 31. He first assisted his older brother, senior Matt Sanner, to give the Tigers a 1-0 lead six minutes into the game by sending a cross into the box. He set up teammate Julian Griggs for the game winner in the 50th minute with another great feed.
Princeton faces No. 15 St. John's on Wednesday, Sept. 5 at 8 p.m., in New York.
